  • American Journal of Business

    The American Journal of Business (AJB)develops and applies theory to modern business organizations. A core principal of AJB is recognizing the interplay of all the functional areas of business and that modern business cannot be properly evaluated in functional area silos. Moreover, AJB is dedicated to applying theories from all areas of business to a wide variety of business decisions, processes and activities within the actual business setting. Theoretical and empirical advances in buyer behavior, finance, organizational theory and behavior, marketing, risk and insurance and international business are evaluated on a regular basis. Published for executives, researchers and scholars alike, the Journal aids the application of empirical research to practical situations and theoretical findings to the reality of the business world.

  • International Journal of Business Anthropology

    The International Journal of Business Anthropology (IJBA), is a double blinded peer reviewed journal, focusing upon business anthropology supported by the College of Sociology and Anthropology, Sun Yat-Sen University; School of History and Culture, Jishou University; the Institute of Business Anthropology, Shantou University; Center for Social and Economic Behavior Studies, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, China.

    Given the rapid growth of business anthropology, a journal dedicated to the field is much needed. Business anthropology uses qualitative and ethnographic methods as an alternative to more formal methodologies. Specific tools include participant observation, informal and structured interviews, and other “naturalistic”, informal, and face-to-face methods of investigation. Business anthropologists play a key role in developing culturally sensitive policies and strategies in a world increasingly typified by cross-cultural contacts.

  • American Journal of Management

    The American Journal of Management (AJM) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing scholarly empirical and theoretical research articles focusing on improving business and management theory, practice and behavior. AJM encourages research that impacts the general business and management fields as a whole and introduces new ideas or new perspectives on existing research. Accepted manuscripts will focus of bridging the gap between academic theory and practice as it applies to improving the broad spectrum of the business discipline. Manuscripts that are suitable for publication in AJM cover domains such as business strategy and policy, entrepreneurship, human resource management, organizational behavior, organizational theory, and research methods. These domains are not inclusive as any traditional aspect of business is appropriate. The average acceptance rate for the American Journal of Management is less than 20 percent.

  • Journal of Accounting and Finance

    The Journal of Accounting and Finance (JAF) is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of research across all the leading fields of financial inquiry by publishing, through a blind, refereed process, ongoing results of research in accordance with international scientific or scholarly standards. Articles are written by business leaders, policy analysts and active researchers for an audience of specialists, practitioners and students in all areas related to financial and accounting in business and education. Studies reflecting issues concerning budgeting, taxation, process, investments, regulatory procedures, and business financial analysis are suitable themes. JAF also covers theoretical and empirical analysis relating to financial reporting, asset pricing, financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, and corporate governance. Articles of regional interest are welcome, especially those dealing with lessons that may be applied in other regions around the world.

  • Journal of Applied Business and Economics

    The Journal of Applied Business and Economics (JABE) is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of business and economic knowledge by publishing, through a blind, refereed process, ongoing results of research in accordance with international scientific or scholarly standards. Articles are written by business leaders, policy analysts and active researchers for an audience of specialists, practitioners and students. Articles of regional interest are welcome, especially those dealing with lessons that may be applied in other regions around the world. This would include, but not limited to areas of marketing, management, finance, accounting, management information systems, human resource management, organizational theory and behavior, operations management, economics and econometrics, or any of these disciplines in an international context.

    Focus of the articles should be on applications and implications of business, management and economics. Theoretical articles are welcome as long as their focus is in keeping with JABE’s applied nature.

  • Journal of Business Diversity

    The Journal of Business Diversity (JBD) is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge by publishing, through a blind, refereed process, ongoing analysis, study and results that address nontraditional demographic characteristics such as age, gender and ethnicity that influence company policies. JBD is inclusive, & practical, and encourages active interaction between academics, managers, and consultants performing in diverse business settings. The scope encompasses policy analysis and best practices in large and small enterprises, public and private sector service organizations, state and national government, and local and regional societies and economies with special emphasis on linking academic research to future practice. Articles are written by business leaders, policy analysts and active researchers for an audience of specialists, practitioners and students. Articles of regional interest are welcome, especially those dealing with lessons that may be applied in other regions around the world. This would include, but not limited to areas of marketing, management, finance, accounting, management information systems, human resource management, organizational theory and behavior, operations management, economics, or any of these disciplines in an international context.

    The Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice (JHETP) is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of academic and intellectual knowledge by publishing, through a blind, refereed process, ongoing results of research in accordance with international scientific and scholarly standards. Articles should combine disciplinary methods with key insight to contemporary issues central to students, faculty, administrators, and industry specialists. Articles of regional interest are welcome, especially those dealing with lessons that may be applied in other regions around the world. Accepted manuscripts should make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the higher education field.​

  • Journal of Leadership, Accountability and Ethics

    The Journal of Leadership, Accountability and Ethics (JLAE) is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of business and management knowledge by publishing, through a blind, refereed process, ongoing results of research in accordance with international scientific or scholarly standards. Articles are written by business leaders, policy analysts and active researchers for an audience of specialists, practitioners and students. Articles of regional interest are welcome, especially those dealing with lessons that may be applied in other regions around the world. Research addressing any of the business functions is encouraged as well as those from the non-profit and governmental sectors.

    Focus of the articles should be on applications and implications of management, leadership, ethics, and governance. Theoretical articles are welcome as long as there is an applied nature, which is in keeping with the North American Business Press mandate.

  • Journal of Management Policy and Practice

    The aim of the Journal of Management Policy and Practice (JMPP) is to publish research that conceptualizes, tests, or extends management theory. It is also the aim of JMPP for all research to have an end benefit to practitioners and policy makers. All empirical methods-including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory, meta-analytic, and combination methods-are welcome. Accepted manuscripts must make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the management field. JMPP is not tied to any particular discipline, level of analysis, or national context. Authors should strive to be bold but theoretically grounded in their research.

    The target acceptance bounds of JMPP run between 12% and 18%. All articles go through a double blind review process, and acceptance decisions are made within forty-five days of submission. Authors of unaccepted papers are free to submit their papers to another journal.

  • Journal of Marketing Development and Competitiveness

    The Journal of Marketing Development and Competitiveness (JMDC) is a double blind peer reviewed journal that publishes thought-provoking, in-depth articles that cover the marketing arena and the interface between marketing and firm competitiveness. Articles in JMDC bridge the gap between theory and application. The journal is widely circulated with a diverse readership that includes both practitioners and academics, profit and nonprofit organizations, and government institutions. Although the focus is on marketing it also draws on other disciplines including entrepreneurship, management, economics, and finance. JMDC is committed to publishing a broad spectrum of conceptual and empirical articles that make a new theoretical and/or substantive contribution to the field.

    The target acceptance bounds of JMDC run between 13% and 19%. All articles go through a double blind review process, and acceptance decisions are made within forty-five days of submission. Authors of unaccepted papers are free to submit their papers to another journal.

  • Journal of Organizational Psychology

    The Journal of Organizational Psychology (JOP) aims to publish empirical reports and theoretical reviews of research in the field of organizational psychology. The journal will focus on research and theory in all topics associated with organizational psychology within and across individual, group and organizational levels of analysis, including but not limited to: personnel selection and training; organizational assessment and development; risk management and loss control leadership development, marketing and consumer behavior research, organizational culture, organizational justice, organizational performance, performance appraisal, feedback, staffing and selection. It is also the aim of JOP for all research to have an end benefit to practitioners and policy makers. All empirical methods-including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory, meta-analytic, and combination methods-are welcome. Accepted manuscripts must make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the organizational psychology field. JOP is not tied to any particular discipline, level of analysis, or national context.

  • Journal of Strategic Innovation and Sustainability

    The Journal of Strategic Innovation and Sustainability (JSIS) takes a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing the many challenges of managing innovation and sustainability, rather than a narrow focus on a single aspect such as technology, R&D or new product development. JSIS is inclusive & practical, and encourages active interaction between academics, managers and consultants. The scope encompasses innovation research, sustainability research, policy analysis and best practices in large and small enterprises, public and private sector service organizations, state and national government, and local and regional societies and economies with special emphasis on linking academic research to future practice. Articles of all nature are published including: quantitative studies, qualitative studies, literature and book reviews, methodology, policy analyses, and case studies.

    The target acceptance bounds of JSIS run between 14% and 20%. All articles go through a double blind review process, and acceptance decisions are made within forty-five days of submission. Authors of unaccepted papers are free to submit their papers to another journal.
