The Impact of Self-efficacy, Resilience and Hope on Self-employed Graduates in Nigeria

This study examines the impact of self-efficacy, hope and resilience on self-employed graduates Nigeria. Questionnaire survey of 311 of self-employed graduates was utilized. A multi-hierarchical regression analyses were performed. Results show that self-efficacy and resilience has a significant effect on selfemployed graduates in Nigeria. The education curriculum needs to be revisited to incorporate action learning in order to prepare graduates for self-employment. Government should take keen interest in developing programs that build behaviour change. This study contribute to the dearth of evidence of selfemployed graduates, literature by investigating the contributions of self-efficacy and resilience.
