Abstract

As inherited experience and wisdom from traditional culture, cultural heritage is an important part of modern social life. Using the Neo-classical “Structural Functionalism”, this paper analyzes the structural and functional changes in Literature and Art Cultural Heritage (LACH)1 in the transition from tradition to modern times. In a modern society, there are multiple inheritance forms of LACH, such as Urban Revitalization, Characteristic Towns, cultural and tourism-related performing arts, festival activities and temple fairs, etc. They exhibit diverse values with all kinds of structure-function, such as embodied in original, associated or fragmented forms.
