Abstract

The fundamental law of sustainable development to human civilization relishes and revers nature, and even protects the environment. An important academic work in English, China Environmental Anthropology, published by North American Business Press, Seattle, WA, USA, 2018, has unearthed a deep understanding of the nature and environment and the related existing conditions. The authors, Wang Tianjin (Minzu University of China in Beijing, China), Tian Guang (Huaihua University in Hunan, China) and Ma Jianfu (Northern Minzu University in Yinchuan, China), are eminent scholars working on the aforesaid field. Amidst severe deterioration in the relationship between man and nature in the current times, the book is a solace for all researchers and academicians as it clearly reveals the causes of the contradictions thereby offering valuable inputs.
